Our Story

Perth Wellness Infusions was founded by Valentine, a paramedic with over six years of front-line clinical experience. That background, working under pressure, making careful decisions, and placing human wellbeing at the centre of every action, shaped the philosophy that defines this practice today.

The decision to establish Perth Wellness Infusions was both professional and deeply personal. Having received IV infusion therapy firsthand, Valentine understands, not just clinically, but experientially, how transformative the right treatment, delivered in the right environment, can be.

What began as a vision to bring something genuinely different to Perth’s wellness landscape has become a practice built on trust, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to each client’s individual experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. You do not need a referral to book a consultation. If you are under the care of a doctor or specialist for a medical condition, we may ask you to speak with them before any treatment.

IV therapy and injections, following an individual assessment. Every client starts with a consultation, and a treatment is only discussed once a clinician has reviewed your health history. You can read more on our services page.

IV therapy and injections are not suitable for everyone. Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a kidney, heart or liver condition, have a bleeding or clotting disorder, take any medications (including blood thinners and fluid tablets), or have any allergies. Depending on your answers, we may ask you to speak with your GP first, or we may not proceed. IV therapy: who it may and may not suit

Eat a normal meal and drink water as usual beforehand, and wear a top with sleeves that roll up easily. Have your list of medications ready. During the session you can bring a book, put on music, or simply relax.

If you're unwell, please see your GP first. Tell us about any illness when booking; we may need to reschedule.

Our clinicians visit homes across the Perth metro area. See the suburbs we visit.

Most clients find the process quick and comfortable. You will feel a sharp scratch when the cannula is placed. The needle is then removed, leaving a soft plastic tube in the vein. Our clinicians focus on careful, gentle cannula placement, although occasionally more than one attempt is needed.

A clinician places a cannula, a small, flexible tube, in a vein in your arm or hand and connects it to a bag of fluid, which runs slowly into the vein. Your clinician stays with you throughout, checks the cannula site and asks how you are feeling, and removes the cannula when the infusion is finished.

All IV treatment carries some risk. We review your health history before any session, and you'll be told about possible side effects before you decide.

Possible side effects include bruising or tenderness where the cannula or needle was placed, discomfort, irritation of the vein, feeling light-headed, infection at the site (uncommon) and allergic reaction (rare but can be serious). Your clinician monitors you throughout so that any problem can be recognised and managed promptly. More detail is on our IV therapy and injection services pages.

Treatments are provided by registered nurses. Every appointment uses sterile, single-use equipment. You can read about our team on our about page.

This depends on your individual assessment. Our clinician will discuss whether any further treatment is appropriate for you.

We recommend avoiding alcohol on the day of treatment.

Your clinician removes the cannula, applies a small dressing and goes through aftercare with you. Keep the dressing on for a few hours, and expect some mild bruising or tenderness at the site. Contact us on 0404 373 653, or see your GP, if you notice increasing redness, swelling, warmth or pain at the site, or develop a fever. Call 000 immediately if you have difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips or throat, chest pain, or feel faint or very unwell.

Please let us know as early as you can by phone or email.
